Which areas of Hove/ Brighton do you cover? 

At present, we cover up to 5 miles from the centre of Hove. Please get in touch to see if we can visit you.

How long do you spend with my cat? 

Our visits last for 30 minutes and after we have fed and watered your cat, the rest of our time is spent with them. Some cats are shy, or like to keep themselves to themselves so we provide a reassuring presence for them, and make sure that they have everything that they need. Other cats, kittens in particular, will often require more attention; they want to play, they show us that they want affection, and they love a good cuddle - we are always happy to oblige!

I'm a bit worried about handing over my keys to a stranger. How can you reassure me? 

This is totally understandable and a common concern! Cat-man-do is a fully registered company. Kaan and his wife live locally and are both DBS checked and insured. You will meet whoever is going to be caring for your cat at your meet and greet visit. 

Your key is kept safe in a locked box and kept separate to any personal information. We don't use uniforms or branded vehicles to visit your home so nobody will know why we are visiting. 

Can you give my cat their medication?

Yes we can. Our cat sitters are experienced in caring for cats with a range of medical conditions. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.

What happens in an emergency?

If your cat becomes unwell or gets hurt then we will take them to see their vet with your consent. Details of vets will be requested at our meet and greet.

If there is a problem with the house, we will contact you immediately and can liase with contractors/ landlords if required ​​ 

How much notice do I need to book? 

We strongly encourage you to book your visits with as much notice as possible.

Our busy periods are: school holidays for summer, half term and Easter, plus bank holidays and Christmas & New Year.

We try our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but this may only be possible for existing clients as we need to allow time to arrange the meet-and-greet and keys etc. 

What happens if my trip is delayed?

We like to hold onto your keys until you confirm with us that you are safely home. This means that if your trip is delayed, we can still continue to care for your cat until you are back. We can then hold on to your keys for future visits or we can pop them back to you free of charge.  

When do you visit my cat?

If you have booked a daily visit then we will visit your cat every morning. For those, who request two visits a day then we will visit your cat in the morning and early evening, 
 Please note that we don't offer an alternate day service as we need to see your cat once a day to help ensure their safety and wellbeing.
